== Common Annoyances ==
== Webchat Commands ==
- If you are already in chat, you will be renamed to username1.<br/>
Most of the commands Webchat uses are the same as the other IRC clients on redbrick.<br/>
To fix this, just quit or rename (/nick username) yourself in [[irssi]]. Then rename yourself to your normal username.
For examples of some of these commands see the article on [[IRC]].<br/>

- Java not being installed on your computer.<br/>
== Connecting to channels automatically ==
[http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp Download Java] here and install the browser plugin. Then close your browser and retry.
By default you will automatically join #lobby.<br/>
If you wish to override this functionality once you have logged in with pubcookie remove &channels=lobby from the end of the url and reload the page.<br/>
You will now be prompted for your nickname and the channels you wish to join.<br/>
If you want to join multiple channels the list should be comma separated. (eg. #lobby,#intersocs,#bots,...).<br/>

== Other Questions ==
This will only take effect for the current session and will have to be repeated each time you use webchat.<br/>
- If something else is wrong, try emailing helpdesk@redbrick.dcu.ie about the problem and we will sort it out.
