-"emo" is a distasteful subculture. It even has its own genre of music, bands such as My chemical romance are the essence of distaste. The main distinguishing feature of an emo, is someone who displays overtly emotional reactions to very common or even questionably existing events. (Especially if the reaction is vague, non-conforming and apathetic.) They also have distaste for weather in general, because weather sucks.
 Redbrick, as a society, would like to make a number of things regarding this page clear.
