gizmo (real name: Simon, formal title: Chairman Gizmao) is the chairman of Gamessoc.
He is known for his authoritarian style of leadership and has enacted the "One Week Plan" (Games Week) which involves the collectivisation of Gamessoc and reorganisation of the constitution to convey some kind of mixture of fascism and "communism" á la Castro, Mao, et al.
His title, 'Chairman Gizmao', was given to him by coconut at the Gamessoc EGM in early 2007 after the latter's election as Ordinary Member was overruled by the veto of gizmao. He didn't want the job anyway.
gizmo was awarded the Gamessoc Committee Medal of Valour on seventeen consecutive occasions for single-handedly organising all of Gamessocs events for the entire year. (This is due to the fact that nobody likes to help.)
