Minutes of Meeting, 21st March 2001.

Admin Issues
The problem with prodigy appears to be an issue with the DiskSuite RAID program that is running. The last time a backup was tried the machine crashed. There is a command that may fix the problem, but if it fails the disks will be wiped. Admins will come up with a plan of action for the downtime over next weekend and let committee know. The upgrades for enigma should arrive next wednesday and enigma will be re-installed too to take advantage of the disk array.
AGM

- Try and book pravda for after.
Redbrick Room
Still waiting to speak to Richie Kelly.
Disaster list
Mark will mail Fergus about setting up a redbrick disaster list, and getting announcements on the portal pages.
Intersocs News
- Should be easily achievable through HEAnet. All we need to do is ask.
- Suggested groups: computing, babble, debate, tv, sports.
Marks Uncle a/c
Seconded by Brian and granted by unanimous vote.
Money
Need to get the money out of our a/c before the end of the year - i.e. the room HAS to be started.
Adam's machine offer
Nothing decided. Issues raised about preferential treatment for one member, and giving him access to our network for free. Will be approached again.
Trophy
Need to get the trophy engraved. Brian will leave it in tomorrow.
