Redbrick Committee Meeting Minutes 06-10-2005

Present: Michelle, Jes, Dave, Charlie, Una, Eoghan Absent: Ken, Bernard, Stephen(ryaner), Stephen(igy), Simon


Matters Arising

No matters arising from minutes of minutes of previous meeting.


Grant App

Helpdesk decided on 19 tutorials at 30 euro each.

10th Anniversary - decided on an event with finger food, guest speakers, a cake, followed by bands. a questionaire is to be put online to see if people want the event in DCU or in town along with a few other questions. As for a date, we are thinking about the friday of tech week.

Halloween Ball - Not sure on venue but we're thinking about eamon dorans again at the moment.

Christmas Ball - to be negotiated with DCU drama.

Tech week - we're asking for 960 euro for guest speakers, etc for tech week.

Admins hardware -

  • 120 euro for a rack PS
  • 320 euro for an IP-KVM
  • 400 euro for a Mac mini
  • also, Dell suck!
