Minutes

   1. Review of minutes from last meeting
      Minutes from 2003-02-23 passed.
   2. Agenda for this meeting
        1. SPC stuff
           Michael talked about the following:
             1. The c&s awards, 1 ticket per society and 1 ticket per
                nominated individual is available at a minimum. Usual
                wheeling and dealing can garner more.
             2. SPC AGM is Wednesday next week (24th). Try to get some
                RedBrick people (not necessarily committee) on it for
                next year.
             3. Should be able to get some money for the table quiz for
                sound and decorating.
        2. Table Quiz
           We have EUR200 sponsorship from EuroSPAR. Discussed possible
           prizes, initially set date for the Tuesday of week 8 or 9.
           Seamus to ask Peats for sponsorship.
        3. C&S Awards
           Go forward for best soc. Possibly put alt rag ball forward
           for best event. Best individual is Dermot. Best fresher will
           be art_wolf.
        4. AGM
           Discussed potential candidates.
        5. Society Meeting
           Dave and Cillian will attend this.
        6. Deathray move
           Dermot talked about the schedule for moving services to
           deathray. Also, all incoming mail will now be sent to CSD's
           new spam & virus scanning machines before being delivered to
           us. Admins are happy enough with this change and CSD are
           quite keen on us using this service. They are aware that they
           may receive frequent configuration change requests from us as
           a consequence.
   3. Any other business
        1. Serial card
           Dermot said that no cheap serial card can be found, so will
           have to contact Michael and the SPC about getting more money
           allocated for it.
        2. Internet Banking
           Martin (prolix) asked about this for our society account.
           This has already been investigated before, it's not possible
           for any club or society.
