  The system is open to any redbrick member to login to. Here are the details.

  In all cases the username and password needed to login is the same username and password you use to access the servers.

  If you wish to use a jabber capable messenger client here is what you do.
  If the client supports TLS/SASL connections point the client at:
  server: jabber.redbrick.dcu.ie
  port:    5222


  And make sure to turn on the option for using TLS/SASL

The server does not accept non encrypted traffic.
  This client uses javascript to operate so you may need to enable this in your browser and to give our site popup access, for
  anyone who uses popup blocking on their browser.


  This client is made available as is for testing purposes, we hope to either get a better client or integrate the current one better into the site.
